For boys like Theo, the experience of other cultures can be life changing. Theo arrived in the Maya village of Ek Balam with his mom and brother and quickly went about making friends in the village in spite of the language difference. Local kids were thrilled to show their Canadian friends around and Theo tells us what he took away from the experience.
